Dalam kanal Youtubenya, Nicky Youre mengaku ia sempat menyerah menulis musik. 

Pasalnya selama enam tahun ia menulis lagu dan memproduksi musik, belum pernah ada lagu yang hits.

Setelah selesai kuliah, Nicky memilih untuk bekerja sebagai sales komputer dan menjual berbagai peralatan komputer dengan tetap bermusik dan menulis lagu.

Saat lagu miliknya yang berjudul Sunroof viral di Tiktok, Nicky akhirnya memutuskan untuk keluar dari pekerjaannya dan memulai untuk memproduksi musik lagi.

"Padahal udah 6 tahun bermusik, tapi sejak Sunroof rasanya jadi mulai dari awal lagi," ujarnya.

Ia mengaku merasa bahagia bisa bermusik dan menghasilkan uang dari musik karena menemukan banyak orang yang mendukungnya.
