It serves several functions as well. What is it? Estrella quoted in the book states that a song has social function that is to entertain, to express feelings, and to teach moral lessons.
It is due to the words chosen in the lyrics as well as the rhyme and tone. So, what are the parts of song?

1. Title
Everything has its own name. The 'name' of a song is called title so that people could mention it.
Title is how people concern to particular lyrics, rhyme, tone, and other terms connected to specific songs.
2. Verse
Estrella explains verse as a group of lines of words telling a story that the singer wants to
convey.
Verse in a song allows the song writer to direct the message of the song. The song writers also convey the message of a song through this part, though.
