Bern: Missing man rescued lifeless from Aare
On Wednesday morning, a lifeless man was rescued from the Aare at the Engehalde dam in Bern. The deceased is the Indonesian citizen who had an accident in the Aare on May 26, 2022.
On Wednesday, June 8, 2022, shortly before 6:50 a.m., the Bern cantonal police were reported that a lifeless man was lying in the water at the Engehalde weir in Bern.

Specialists from the maritime police of the Bern cantonal police were able to locate a body in the overflow basin of the weir and then salvage it. It could only be determined that the man was dead.
The forensic investigations carried out in the meantime revealed that the deceased was the Indonesian national who had been missing in the Aare since Thursday, May 26, 2022.
The 22-year-old went swimming in the river and got into an emergency. He drowned as a result of this accident.
