Direct speech atau direct sentence adalah istilah dalam bahasa Inggris untuk menunjukkan kalimat langsung sebagai bentuk ucapan.

Sementara, indirect speech atau indirect sentence adalah kalimat yang menunjukkan ucapan seseorang yang diucapkan secara tidak langsung.
